Free School Meals
Meal Benefits Application
Families should complete a new Meal Benefits Application each school year unless they have been directly certified through another qualifying program. One breakfast and one lunch are available to all students at no charge.
Apply Online
The easiest way to complete the application is through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
- Log in to the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
- Select More.
- Select Meal Benefits Application.
- Complete and submit the application for the current school year.
Paper Forms
Paper applications may also be made available in English and Spanish.

Confidentiality Waiver
A confidentiality waiver allows eligibility information from the Meal Benefits Application to be shared with specific Sibley East programs when a parent or guardian gives permission.

Dietary Requests & Meal Accommodations
Sibley East works with families to address qualifying dietary needs and meal accommodations.
Special Diet Statement
For dietary accommodations related to a disability or medical need, use the Minnesota Special Diet Statement.
Lactose-Reduced Milk
A parent or guardian may provide a written request for lactose-reduced milk without a physician's signature.

Breakfast is served from 7:45–8:20 a.m.
Why Breakfast Matters
- Eating breakfast can support math, reading, and academic performance.
- Breakfast can help students pay attention, solve problems, and support memory.
- Students who eat breakfast may have fewer absences and incidents of tardiness.
- Regular breakfast helps children establish healthy habits for later in life.
- School breakfast includes fruit, whole grains, and milk and helps provide energy for the school day.
