Sibley East

High School Choir

Welcome to the Sibley East High School Choir Home Page.  I am Lenore Strouth, the choir director.  My goal as a choir teacher is to help students develop their musical ability through an exposure to a variety of musical styles and performance opportunities. Many of the skills and concepts they learn in order to be successful in choir will transfer to other academic areas and other areas of their life.

Activity Description

Choir is learning music through the act of group singing. Sibley East High School offers a JV Choir (grades 9-10) and Concert Choir (grades 11-12).

Students have the opportunity to sing solos, ensembles, sing the National Anthem at events, and join show choir in addition to regular choir performances.

Concert Choir meets 7th block on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday and 3rd block on Thursday.

JV Choir meets 3rd block on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday and 3rd block on Wednesday.

How to Join

Students can register for choir at the regularly schedule registration dates.

Students are charged a $25 uniform fee which is a rental/ cleaning fee for the concert attire of a gown or tux. Students are charged $30 for shoes, which they will own and can use every year.
