How to Join!
Here is your chance to join an international organization for students. Any student in the junior high who would really like to have a great time working together with others doing projects in their school, their community, and the world are invited to investigate the Sibley East Junior High Leo Club.

Leo Clubs are a Lions’ service to youth in the truest sense. Sponsored only by Lions Clubs and governed by a standard constitution, they are open to young men and women of good character of all races and creeds. Modeled on their parent organization, Leo Clubs help young people grow as leaders and generous human beings while providing an invaluable service to the community.

Lions/Leos are the world’s largest service organization.

Lions/Leos were challenged to become “Knights of the Blind” by Helen Keller. Leos continue this challenge by collecting used eye glasses for distribution around the world.

These objectives form the central theme of Leo Clubs:

Leadership
Experience
Opportunity

The Sibley East Junior High Leo Club is sponsored by the Arlington Lions Club, the Green Isle Lions Club, and the Sibley East Area (SEA) Lions Club. It is run by the members who set their own projects and meeting schedules after consultation with their Lion advisor.

Meetings will be held once a month at the junior high during the lunch hour. You meet while you eat!!! Depending on your involvement, you may miss no class time at all or maybe one class per month. Committee or Board of Director meetings may also be held. Projects will by chosen by the members and are voluntary. Everyone is, of course, encouraged to be ACTIVE!!!!

Interested? Come to our first meeting on the first Wednesday in October
