Wolverine Way

Wolverine Way takes place each afternoon at the middle school and high school.  It is approximately a half hour in length.

During this period, students who need academic assistance of one kind or another are assigned to a specific teacher for help, ranging from remediation to retaking a quiz or test.

Students who do not need assistance sign up for a "class" or activity that they would like to attend.  These classes, called "extensions", can range from additional instruction above and beyond what the other stdents are learning in their classes to possibly something like current events challenges or maybe even an extra cooking class during the holiday season.

From a supervision standpoint, every student has a place to go and is expected to be in that place.  Attendance is taken, although we find that students are present because they want to be there.
