Student Guide Program

The primary focus of the Student Guide program is to help new students become acquainted with the school and to promote a positive school climate. The Student Guides consist of fourteen 8th and 9th graders that applied to be Student Guides.

The Student Guide activities consist of:

*Giving "welcome kits" to the new students
*Introducing the new students to their teachers and classmates
*Helping the new students become familiar with the school building
*Sponsoring a 7th grade orientation day
*Sponsoring two dances during the school year
*Sponsoring a Freshman lockin
*Sponsoring the 7th grade Courage Retreat
