The Sibley East Schools, as well as the preceding school districts of Arlington, Gaylord, and Green Isle, have educated many students who have entered professions and careers and excelled in a variety of fields, including the areas of business, medicine, science, education, agriculture, public service, the arts and entertainment. The Sibley East School District 2310 Wall of Fame Selection Committee honors these outstanding graduates through acknowlegement on the Wall of FameThe Wall of Fame serves to inspire and offer role models for its current students.  

 

To be eligible, nominees must
 

  • Be graduates of Sibley East High School District 2310 or have graduated from Gaylord, Arlington, or Green Isle School Districts before consolidation.
  • Have graduated at least 10 years prior to induction.
  • Have demonstrated  those qualities of character, citizenship and service that form the foundation of a democratic and humane society.  
  • Have received honors, awards, or other recognitions on a local, regional, national, and/or international level 
  • Have demonstrated a history of community service.
  • Have made significant contributions (job related achievements) in their chosen fields or made significant contributions on a local, regional, national, and/or international level.

 


There is no limit to the number of nominees; however, only one will be selected each year.

 

The Wall of Fame is funded by the Sibley East School District 2310.

Please assist the Wall of Fame Committee by completing any parts (A through E) of the following questionnaire that you feel pertain to you.

If preferred, attach a resume, copies of awards, and any materials that will help us know more about you and your career. (Make sure that you complete any items in A through E that are not addressed in your uploaded document(s).  If you feel that your documentation addresses a particular question A-E, please enter "In documentation" in the respective boxes. Processing

 

 

The selection committee, which may be comprised of alumni, faculty, community members, parents and students will review all applications. Selections will be made and inductees will be notified no later than the first week of November.

 

Please note: a pre-requisite of selection (with the exception of posthumous selection) is the ability of the nominee to attend our recognition ceremony on November 20, 2017.  

If requested, nominations can be forwarded to the next calendar year for consideration.
